How It All Begin
Anointed Word Music (AWM), originally founded as Rhema Ministries in 2001 and re‑established by Pastor Cory Dortch in 2015, is a diverse music ministry committed to impacting lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Beginning with vocalists from various Chicagoland ministries, AWM’s mission has always been to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ through authentic praise and worship.
Anointed Word Music recorded a two‑track CD titled “Rise Up In God,” which is now available on all major music platforms.
Over the years, AWM has been honored to minister at gospel festivals, youth rallies, local churches, and multiple states across the U.S. Every singer and musician serves with one purpose to uplift the name of Jesus and share salvation, healing, deliverance, and freedom through the Gospel.
AWM remains determined to carry the message of Jesus Christ to the nation, praying that every person encountered experiences the transforming power of God.
